It's Fall Picnic Time!

Blake got to go on his first big outing to the farmland this past weekend as his daddy's work had their annual fall picnic out at a farm in Moonville, South Carolina. Blake just seemed to take it all in as he sat on our little blanket. He also got to enjoy his first hayride. He was the perfect kid...never made a peep.

Mimi and Papa Time!

Mimi and Papa came down for a really quick visit as they're in the midst of getting all their plans down for moving to South Carolina. As always, they loved spending a little time with Blake and he's enjoying being with them. Soon he will have a LOT more time with both of them!

Put me on the floor!

Blake is really adjusting to being on the floor. He's not crawling yet, but he literally rolls until he hits a wall. He's starting to sit up pretty well now as long as he doesn't reach for something to his left or right. It won't be long and we'll be chasing him around the house.

Always so happy...

Joy and I are always commenting on how Blake is always happy and smiling. It's such a blessing to have such a sweet boy.

Bananas?

Blake wasn't too sure about his first bite of bananas. He's gotten much more used to them now and eats them without those crazy faces.

Vacation with Grammy

Blake didn't actually make it to the beach much during our vacation, but he got to spend some quality time with his Grammy.

Blake got to visit the beach at Pawley's Island for the very first time this summer. He wasn't too sure about the water and didn't really know what to think of the sand. I'm sure next summer he'll be running right alongside Brooklynn down the beach.
